As with most feudal land holdings, the majority of Siar Fordell’s income is made through rent from tenants and through compensation for military service. Another key aspect of the economy is financial management and services, as well as venture capital.

Agriculture also plays a large role in the the Thegn-Hold’s economy, but as of the moment it is limited to subsistence farming without any plans to export crops in the near future.

Siar Fordell produces a fair amount of high quality, hand cured and harvested gourmet sea salt. This sea salt harvesting had been started to increase the realm’s self sufficiency, using domestically produced seasoning on local agriculture and game harvested from the Thegn’s lands, but recently, production has increased to the point where export is possible.
